Disappointing news out of the UK this week.
The Directors are busy sourcing alternative international tournaments for our Australian Teams that will be announced at the conclusion of the Australian Senior Championships in Perth.
“Hi everyone
After a lot of very hard work, we are extremely disappointed that due to circumstances beyond our control and the current international travel climate, the Welsh Darts Organisation have very reluctantly decided it would be in everyone’s best interest to postpone and reschedule the Commonwealth Darts Championship to a suitable future date in 2027.
We have been in contact with Commonwealth Sport and our other key partners who fully understand our position and are keen to support a rescheduled event, It is intended to be in Cardiff as originally planned I am sure you will agree with this being a major international event, knowing many countries have other international commitments and need to plan accordingly it would not be very responsible of us to string people along and let them down at the last minute.
Hopefully we can pick up where we have left off when we can get the new date in place.
Once again many thanks for your support
All the best
John Mullen
