Deepening our existing relationship and shared commitment to the sport, the WDF are proud to announce Target Darts as 2026 WDF World Masters sponsor and official board supplier.
The 2026 WDF World Masters is the 50th running of the iconic tournament and this year’s event, scheduled for July 14th-19th, will be the first to be held outside of Europe.
Played at our Official Host Hotel, Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, every match in the 2026 WDF World Masters, WDF World Open, WDF World Championship Qualifiers and the supporting Pairs and Cricket tournaments will be played on Target TOR boards.
This event marks the third major tournament where Target has backed the WDF, starting with the 2025 World Masters in Budapest and 2025 World Championships at Lakeside.
Target players have a rich history in the WDF World Masters, boasting no less than 13 former winners of the tournament across all four categories including the likes of Luke Littler, Beau Greaves, Glen Durrant, Lorraine Winstanley, Paige Pauling and the reigning Youth World Master and WDF Open and Youth World No.1 Mitchell Lawrie.
Several of the Target roster are also set to be in action at this year’s event, including reigning WDF Scottish Open champion James Beeton and 2024 WDF Women’s World Championship finalist Sophie McKinlay.
Speaking on the deal, WDF President Buddy Bartoletta said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our collaboration with Target for the 2026 WDF World Masters.
“Target are phenomenal supporters of the sport at all levels, a commitment that’s underpinned by having the best boards in the business.
“We can’t wait to see the TOR in action in Las Vegas as we crown the winners of the 50th World Masters and see six players book their spots at Lakeside later in the year”.
Adam Thompson, Marketing Director at Target Darts, added: “Partnering with the WDF on the 50th staging of the World Masters is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a landmark moment for the sport, and taking the tournament to Las Vegas reflects the global momentum darts is building right now.
“At Target, our ambition is to help grow the game at every level, and partnerships like this are key to that, from supporting elite competition through to inspiring more people to pick up a set of darts and play.
“We’re excited to see the TOR boards in action across the week and to play our part in delivering a world-class experience for players and fans alike.”
