Darts Queensland’s Festival of Darts comes to Redlands

An exciting inclusion to the darts calendar in Queensland is the Festival of Darts that will be running this week from 11 to 14 November at the Redlands Multi Sports Club.

The 2021 Darts Queensland Team will play a selected Team of Challengers over three days, including the Fours Round Robin to Final (Thursday), Mixed Doubles and Ladies and Men’s Doubles (Friday), Singles (Saturday), and capped off with Challengers Classic Singles $5000 (WDF Event) open to all players on Sunday.

The four-day tournament features men and ladies players from around Queensland as part of the new initiative implemented to give back to the state’s members.

Darts Queensland President and Queensland Ladies Team Captain, Kerry Crowdey, comments:

“Having the state’s best players convene for this four day spectacle is a great for our sport and also the Queensland darts community.”

“DQ is proud to showcase this event at Redlands Multi Sports Club with top quality competition.”

“The Festival of Darts is a very exciting initiative put forward by the DQ Board, and players are ready to hit the boards, have some fun and show their skills to the people of Queensland.”

Spectators can follow online during the tournament with specific match times and live scoring available on Dart Connect and finals and some games live streamed via the Bull Pen.

This event is also sponsored by Formula Sports who have supplied their new “Titan” Dart Board for use during the competition.
