Yesterday saw the end of four days of fantastic competition at the Redlands Multi Sports Club as the 2021 Festival of Darts in Queensland drew to a close.
It was a wonderful event, a resounding success and a huge congratulations goes out to all involved – particularly everyone behind the scenes at Darts Queensland.
Darts fans all across the country were able to tune in and catch the action via Bull Pen and it was so wonderful to see the return to competition so well embraced by the entire community.
We certainly encourage other states to draw inspiration from the success of the DQ event, and look forward to more events being run across the country in the near future.
In the Singles Finals played yesterday, Raymond Smith defeated Jeremy Fagg 6-3 in the men’s final, while Vanessa James took the win over Vivia Matson 6-2 in the ladiesfinal
