
Australia’s final WDF ranking events of the 2023 season took place this weekend in Bunbury, Western Australia.
From 4-1 down, Joe Comito won four legs on the spin and survived match darts to beat Kyle Tregoning 5-4 and retain his Men’s Bunbury Classic title.
The inaugural Men’s Pit to Port event was won by Bailey Marsh. ‘The Ghost’ claimed his first senior WDF title with a 5-2 win over Dylan Dunster.
In the Women’s events, Kayleigh Pickett recorded an impressive weekend double. She beat Natalie Carter 5-3 in the Bunbury Classic final and Evelyn Cockie 5-1 in the Pit to Port title decider.
Following the conclusion of these events, we can confirm that Aaron Morrison’s vacated spot in the WDF World Championship will be filled from the Main Ranking Table on October 30th.
