Australian Darts Open 2024 Announcement

Due to inflationary pressures on business and the ongoing fall-out from COVID Impacting business in Australia, we have found it difficult to attract sufficient commercial partners to present the Australian Darts Open in 2024.

Darts Australia has therefore made the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 Australian Darts Open and in the intervening time will work with existing and other potential partners to ensure that the event returns in 2025.

The Australian Darts Open, one of only three Platinum events in the World Darts Federation Ranking system, provided a tremendous opportunity for every Australian Darts player to launch themselves into the top echelon of international level of the sport and provided much needed stage experience for aspiring players as well as substantial prize money unmatched in Australia.

Darts Australia would like to take this opportunity to thank our major partners of the Australian Darts Open for their support of this event.

Murray River Council, Moama Bowling Club, Rich River Golf & Country Club.

Further announcements will be made in due course regarding the 2025 Australian Darts Open.
