Fagg emerges victorious to capture Iso Challenge 3

Queensland’s Jeremy Fagg reigned supreme last night taking out the Iso Challenge 3 crown with a 5-2 victory over South Australian Peter Machin in the grand final.

In the first semi final of the evening, Machin comeback from 0-2 after Victoria’s Mal Cuming shot out of the blocks.

But once the South Australian found his rhythm, he steamed through to claim the next five legs and book himself a place in the final.

In the second semi final, there was no stopping the in-form Fagg against inaugural Iso Challenge champion Justin Thompson. Fagg’s 5-2 win was testament to his momentum heading into the decider.

The grand final was the mouth-watering rematch from the epic Iso Challenge 2 climax between the pair, when Machin edged out Fagg 5-4 in a thriller.

On this occasion, Fagg once against secured the early lead at 3-0, before Machin struck back with next two legs, to close the gap at 3-2.

Ultimatley, Fagg rose to the pressure of the stakes, clinching the next two legs, and the Iso Challenge 3 championship, 5-2.

A deserving victor, Fagg pegged the maximum of 170 to cap off a superb finals campaign.
