To my Darts Australia Family,
Yesterday I was rushed to hospital and this afternoon surgeons will operate to remove a large benign brain tumour.
All my efforts now must go into my rehabilitation should the operation be successful. So it’s with sadness that I inform you that I have resigned from my position as President of Darts Australia.
It has been a pleasure to serve our dart players and affiliates, and to work with such a dedicated group of volunteers.
I have met so many wonderful people and have travelled to many places through my involvement in darts – and have made many lifelong friends.
I wish each and every one of you the very best for the future – and may you achieve all your dreams.
I’m signing off now – as Deb and I – with our family’s support, take this next challenge ‘head on’.
Yours in Darts
Kelvin James
