Australian Junior Darts Championships – Day 6 Results

The final day of the 2023 Australian Junior Darts Championships saw a number of events and presentations, bringing a brilliant week to a close.

The Australian Youth Masters took place with Victoria’s Seth Kilroy taking out the Boys event, and Queensland’s Janiya Finlay claiming the win in the Girls event.

The Mystery Mixed Doubles event also took place, with the pairing of Chayce Woods from Queensland and Hollie Harrison from New South Wales taking out the victory by defeating Victoria’s Zane Kilroy and Queensland’s Nicole James in the final.

The championships closed out with an award presentation to recognise the excellence of the competitors throughout the week.

Champion Boy was awarded to Queensland’s Jack Spence, while Champion Girl was awarded to Queensland’s Janiya Finlay.

Rookie Awards were presented to Terence Morton from Western Australia, and Janiya Finlay from Queensland, while Encouragement awards were presented to Western Australia’s Charlie Denison, and Sophie Spence from New South Wales.

The Darts Australia Boys and Girls squads were also announced. Two boys and two girls will be selected from these squads to represent Australia in Denmark in September. The squads are as follows:

Boys:

Captain – Mark Edwards

Terence Morton (WA), Jack Spence (QLD), Mitchell Galby (WA), Landon Key (SA), Seth Kilroy (VIC), Allan Hellmuth (QLD)

Girls:

Captain – Lisa Dann

Janiya Finlay (QLD), Kody Lane (VIC), Gemma Spence (NSW), Ruby Clarke (WA)
