The most prestigious event on the Darts Australia calendar is the Australia Darts Championships and the 2021 instalment will be happening from August 1-7 at Rich River Golf Club in Moama, NSW.
The weeklong tournament will see men’s and ladies players from around the country representing their States and Territories to compete in singles, doubles and team events.
The tournament brings a new level of excitement to our many darts players who get the chance to play against – or team alongside – the best in the country.
Acting DA President Terry Taylor comments: “Having players from all around the country come to Moama is a big deal for the sport and also the local community.”
“The Australian Darts Championships is a very highly regarded tournament which dates back to 1964 when Australia and New Zealand contested the Australasian Championships,” he said.
“With the event cancelled last year due to the COVID pandemic, this year is bound to be as exciting as ever with players ready to hit the dartboards and represent their respective states and territories once again.”
“The Rich River Golf Club in Moama is an incredible venue for darts competition, with excellent viewing opportunities for spectators who can come and watch at any time over the week.”
“The presentation night will be held at Moama Bowls Club, another terrific venue to honour the winners.”
“Darts Australia acknowledges the support of the Murray River Council as the major sponsor for the staging of the 2021 Australian Darts Championships,” Taylor added.
The running of this tournament is subject to COVID permitting.
