Australia’s Representative Team are showing that they are a force to be reckoned with on the world Stage. In the Youth Boys singles Jack Spencer & Terence Morton played their way into the Quarter Finals with Jack moving to the Semi’s & Terence going out in the Quarters. Jack went down in the Semi’s. Both defeated formidable players on their way through and both picked up valuable points for their Team, certainly showing they can mix it with others in the world. The Girls also acquitted themselves well and made it through to the Quarter finals in Girls Pairs before bowing out. Great results from our Youth.
Mens pairs Results Peter Machin & Raymond Smith went through to the top 16 only to be defeated by New Zealand. Brandon Weening & Michael Cassar proceeded to the top 64. Ladies Singles Jo Hadley went through to the top 32 with Kym Mitchell, Jackie Marks, & Amanda Loch, all making it to the top 64.
Day 2. Our ladies Team have played outstandingly, to go through undefeated in the Teams in their Pool. Well done to our Ladies onward and upward from here.
Mens Singles Brandon Weening is through to the Top 8 and Plays Robbie Mills from Canada on Friday night on main stage. Raymond Smith went on to Top 16 with Peter top 32 and Michael top128.
Youth Mixed saw Jack Spencer & Kody Lane through to the last 16 after winning their Group to play again on Friday. Terence Morton & Janiya Finlay came 4th in their Pool.
