2022 Pacific Masters & Darts Championships to be broadcast via My Sport Live

The 2022 Darts Pacific Masters and the 2022 Australian Darts Championships are to be broadcast LIVE across the country and overseas.

The events will be available to watch via www.watchmysportlive.tv – a platform created by Broadcast Partner My Sport Live (MSL), and can be seen online or via various mobile and television apps.

The events will be hosted at the Rich River Golf and Country Club, and this is the first time that every day of the Pacific Masters and the Australian Darts Championships have been live-streamed.

The Pacific Masters will be held on Sunday 7 August and is a World Darts Federation (WDF) Silver Event with over $10,000 worth of prize money.

The 41st Australian Darts Championships will be held from Monday 8 August to Saturday 13 August. The Australian Championships include five separate events including the Peter McMenamin Cup, National Singles as well the Indigenous All-Stars v Presidents X1.

Regarding the announcement, MSL Managing Director Andrew Weiss said that he is excited to showcase these darts events amongst some of Australia’s most significant national sports competitions through the platform.

“It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to highlight some of the best events that Darts Australia (DA) has to offer and to showcase it to the masses,” Weiss said.

“We have been working together with Darts Australia as Broadcast and Media Partners for a number of years, and this is an extension of the wonderful work we have done together.

“We are looking forward to giving a platform to showcase the best competitions and best darts players that Australia has to offer.”

DA President, Kelvin James said that he is excited to be able to give such prestigious events more reach through to the masses.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to further our partnership with My Sport Live to once again bring Darts to the general public’s attention,” Kelvin said.

“We’re sure people will see how exciting these world-class Darts events will be and capture audiences from all around Australia.”

Coverage of the 2022 Pacific Masters and Australian Darts Championships will begin on Sunday, 7 August, at 10 am.
