Darts Australia, in consultation with its Member Affiliates, wishes to advise that the 2021 Australian Championships that were to be held from August 1-7 have been postponed.
The decision, resulting from COVID-19’s impacted travel restrictions and quarantining measures, is one that Darts Australia does not take lightly, but is in the best interests of keeping all participants safe whilst still offering the opportunity for the Australian Championships to proceed at a date TBD.
Whilst this is very disappointing, our objective is ensuring our players, support teams, administrators and families remain healthy and strong.
Darts Australia will continue to keep a close eye on the COVID-19 situation across the country and monitor developments on a daily basis.
